Welcome to Mrs. Kasbek's Sixth Grade Social Studies Site! During the next three weeks, the sixth graders will journey through the civilization of ancient India - an expedition to a subcontinent. Be prepared to hand in your notes on this lesson at quiz time tomorrow. Thursday, April 29, 2010: In class, quiz on Section 5-2, Hinduism. Homework: Set up your notes for Section 5-3 on the beginnings of Buddhism, Text p 136, including Big Idea, Main Ideas, Terms to Identify and Define, and the note-taking strategy of the circles. Friday, April 30, 2010: Study today's class notes on Section 5-3.
